Short Films & Documentary

Do you see a scene in everything you see? Does the actor in you come out every time there is a dramatic situation in front of you? Does the director in you feel the need to retake moments in your life? We got just the thing for you! Department of Media Studies, Christ University, Bangalore proudly brings to you in association with Media Meet 2016- Breaking the Fourth Wall, a Documentary and Short Film competition  

 

If you identify with any or all of the things we just said well then start registering. The registrations are open on our website and the deadline fast approaches. The rules for the contest are as follows:

 

• Open event ( Topic of choice)

• Time limit- 15 mins

• Genre: Short Film & Documentary

• Video should be sent in a CD to Christ university address. For more details, refer contacts.

• Controversial issues to be avoided.

• Open to students only. That is, the film has to be directed, produced and made by students.

• File has to be named as : Name, name of the one who submit Eg: ‘Bloom_Athira’

• Deadline - 15th July 2016

• Registration amount - Rs. 300/- ( per entry)

 

Hurry up because you won’t get a better opportunity to showcase your talent. The reason you ask? Well the winner of the competition will have the privilege of screening his/her film during the film festival! The film festival will see film-makers from all over screening their films and yours will be screened alongside these greats! Let the filming begin!

Life Frames (Stop Motion Video)

Create a 30-45 seconds video using stop motion image. Pictures have to be taken by the participants. Any plagiarized entries would be rejected.
